Compare and contrast living at home and in the dormitory. (III)

I remembered that I had left in the dormitory when I studied at Ming-Chi Technology University. This college life made me so impressed, and it also let me form some good habits, such as going to bed and getting up early, previewing lessons before the class and reviewing lessons after class, being more easygoing than before.

I think there are some different factors between living at home and in the dormitory. First of all, living in the dormitory can be more easily to ask teachers questions. This is because most teachers live in the dormitory, and you can ask them for the helping whenever you have the spare time. However, this situation can not happened in living at home, because you will not come to school for only one reason. Second, living in the dormitory is more convenient than living at home, due to the classrooms are near the dormitory, you do not have to spend times in communing. You can save a lot of times and use it to study. If you live at home, you have to deal with this problem. I think it is really a big trouble for those living at home’s students. Third, you can make so many different kinds friends in the dormitory. Not like living at home; you always look alone, and look like a stranger to every classmates.

Most of my classmates live in the dormitory told me that I am very lucky to live at home. I consider that there are some advantages to live at home. First, you do not have to worry about the food is clean or not, and you can taste fresh fruits everyday. Second, you do have my own secrets. If you live in the dormitory, you can not do anything that you want to do. For example, if you go to somewhere to do something, it always have the person will ask you where do you go?This is really not convenience. Third, I think that you can sleep very well. This is because some of your roommates may have the bad habits such as listening to music or making some uncomfortable noises when you are sleeping. However, if you live at home, you will not face these problems. It does not mean any good or bad ways for living at home and in the dormitory; I think most people would love to try to change their invariable life style. After experiencing many kinds of life style, you will find the way fit you most.

In conclusion, I think everyone should figure out that living in the dormitory in college life, because you can learn a lot of things, habits, and experience that you do not learn in living at home. Maybe there are some advantages that I do not know in living at home, but I would love to choose living in the dormitory.

Bowling

Bowling is one of my favorite spotes and I usually go bowling in my leisure time. I have found that it is easy to understand why bowling is so popular. Its simplicity is a big part of its appeal. It doesn't have any complicated rules, and all of the equipment is available at the bowling alley. No one knows for sure when bowling began. Unlike other sports, bowling started before recorded history. Archeologists have found evidence of primitive bowling balls and pins in Egyptian tombs which date back to 3200 BC. A German historian has claimed that bowling appeared in his country around 200 BC. Also, a lot of evidents shows that bowling was popular all over Europe from around AD 1200. When Europeans colonized North America, they brought their favorite game with them. From there, it spread around the globe.
